Today our class went out onto the courts to learn about  perimeters.We learned how to work out the perimeter of a rectangle and a square.We also learned how to use stage 4, stage 5 and stage 6 Strategies.The best part was when we made a mess with the chalk outside.

Today I did a Maths test with Mrs Manuyag.
I learned: 

• I am below the right stage for adding and subtraction.
• I am below in my times tables. 
• I am below in my fractions. 

My goal is now going to be to reach stage 6 by the end of the year. I will do this by really focussing at learning time on my maths.

How To See Gas In Pepsi!
With this experiment we are learning how to fill a balloon with gas from a Pepsi bottle.

Ingredients
Pepsi Bottle
1 balloon


Method:
Step 1.Get Pepsi  bottle and open.
Step 2.Put balloon on top of the lid.
Step 3.Wait for ten minutes for the balloon to rise.

Conclusion:
When we put the balloon on the bottle of pepsi the gas(carbon dioxide)escaped into the balloon and it inflated a little bit.

How To Turn Something From SOLID TO LIQUID TO SOLID!!

Goal-With our experience we were aiming to turn solid to liquid to solid.

Materials and ingredients-

• Raro
• Jug
• Ice Block stick
• Water
• Cups
• Wooden spoons

Method:

Step 1.Open the raro packet

Step 2. Pour the raro packet into the water Jug.

Step 3.   Add the water to the water Jug .

Step 4.   Mix the water and raro until the raro dissolves.

Step 5.Pour the liquid into the cup.

Step 6.Add the ice-block stick to the cup.

Step 7. Put the liquid into the freezer.

Step 8.Wait till Ice-block is solid  Then eat and enjoy!

Conclusion-When you put liquid in the cold temperature it turns solid.
